The submission date is going to reach soon so I haven been busy finding works that I had done before and also trying to do some new works so that I can put inside my portfolio and also doing the website.

Changing of background

Recently I was thinking of changing my background as I find that my background for last time is a bit too distracting so I decided to go for something more simple like a texture background.

This is one of the work that I had done during my free time. And some of the reason why I did this because I saw a lot of fantasy movie where there is scene where at faraway you can see a castle so I was thinking of instead of a castle I maybe can substitute it with an eiffel tower.

I have been thinking of ideas to improve my previous logo as it was lack of an identity as the logo must actually let people know is me so I thinking of using a DC as shortform, I was thinking of using Dylan Chua that is being place on the logo so that people can know who am I.I will try to post some pictures when I am done with the thinking of what kind of thing that is related to fantasy I can put in my logo.

Ideas

Recently I was thinking what kind of things that is related to fantasy that I can do. I think of thing like marvel heroes, fantasy scenes, fantasy movie poster and some other abstract stuff. There are also a few marvel heroes that I am interested in like green lantern, wolverine and more.

And the last button is to link to my blog. I change some of the design also.

Moodboard

Today I have done my moodboard. I chooses 2 kind of typeface to be use in my flash site and a range of colour scheme. There are also a few pictures to show some of the inspiration that they give me. As my theme is fantasy, some of the picture is more towards fairytale while some are more towards mythical to show my style of illustration.

Wireframe

Today I start on doing the wireframe for my website, after having some ideas last time of how my website will look like and how it navigate, now I actually decide on one idea and actually create picture of how the page will look like. There are also some improvisation that I make from the idea that I have last time because recently I also view a few more flash websites that is also based on the theme fantasy so it actually gave me some new ideas so I edited a bit of how the navigation works and the placing of image. I also think that this should be the final idea that I will be use for my website.
